I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), and Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor (CPCS) with 15 years in the field. I earned a Masters in Community Counseling from Argosy University and holds a Masters of Business Administration from Clark Atlanta University. Her undergraduate work was completed at Purdue University.

 

I am also a Certified Clinical Partner Specialist (CCPS) via APSATS and I have a passion for working with wives/ partners who have experienced trauma due to betrayal in their relationships. I educate clients to understand power and control dynamics, manipulation, gaslighting and narcissistic abuse in their relationships and empower them to set healthy boundaries. I also have extensive experience helping adults suffering from anxiety, depression, interpersonal conflict and other challenging life stressors.

 

I am dedicated to helping clients reach their full potential both as individuals as well as members of an overall family system. My work history in providing clinical care  includes working as a Team Lead Therapist offering Intensive Family Intervention (IFI) services to families in crisis and as a Treatment Liaison for adult participants struggling with addictions and co-occurring disorders with the Forsyth County Drug Court Program.  I have extensive training and education hours in addiction treatment over several years.

 

I use a relational approach while incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, spirituality and other therapeutic techniques.  I utilize clients’ strengths with a focus on empowering individuals to realize the greatest potential within themselves to overcome challenges.
